Today at 1.45pm, we welcomed into the world Max Oscar. He weighed 4kg & measured 51cm.
He’s doing pretty well, but has scrapes and bruises from forceps which struggled to get him out (big head!), and “wet lungs” which caused some concern for a few hours. He’s had a heap of tests and a chest x-ray but the paediatrician is pretty happy with him now. He’s being fed through a nasal tube for the night though, but has been sleeping wonderfully cuddled up to me for hours.
As for me, I’m sore across the incision, and tied to the bed til morning, but otherwise fine. Looking forward to the big kids getting to meet their new baby brother properly tomorrow!
