I was absolutely delighted to see Dirk Flinthart’s "This is not my story" from Andromeda Spaceways #37, my last issue with ASIM, tie (with Margo Lanagan’s "The Goosle", also a brilliant story!) for the Best Short Story category of the Ditmars. It was even more delightful to have Dirk ring me from the awards, on a high, and thank me for publishing the story. , it was my absolute pleasure, and I’m so pleased to see the story get the recognition it deserves.
And while not strictly a Ditmar, it was awesome to see Sean William recognised for the Peter McNamara Award. Well done !
