Hot Fuzz

This movie is frigging hilarious!

LMAO at the ending! What a riot! I usually hate this sort of thing, but I’m thinking the movie is *just* serious enough (mostly) and the lead actor *totally* hot enough, for me to be giggling with genuine amusement rather than switching off in disgust. Awesome!

The meta probably helps too 🙂

Just one of those happy instances where there was nothing else on telly, and I got sucked in from the start. Wasn’t enough to make me buy Run Fatboy Run at the video shop when I saw it today, but I DID think about it! 🙂

I’ve been finding it hard to look at the elderly in the same way. The old dears at the store now have a hidden menace to them 🙂

Simon Pegg… yep. Good man. Loved “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” both. Missed his movie about somebody being fat and doing a lot of running, but then I heard it was pretty missable. However: my buddies in the film reviewing game who have already seen the shiny new Star Trek film say that Mr Pegg is farkin’ brilliant as the Enterprise’s legendary “Mister Scott”, down in Engineering.

Yeah ‘Run Fat Boy Run’ and ‘How to Lose Friends etc’ are nowhere near the awesomeness that is Shaun and Hot Fuzz, but they were certainly watchable.
Trying to look forward to Star Trek without my fan of the original series baggage :p

See, now that’s *nearly* enough to make me think about wanting to see the new Star Trek film…
